Position:	Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Detail:	A highly motivated, experienced & French-speaking Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is required for a gold operation in West Africa Exciting Opportunity in Francophone Africa Good Conditions & FIFO Roster Exceptional $US Remuneration Package The Company Our TSX listed client is a highly successful gold mining company operating in West Africa and are currently looking to build up their Maintenance team with an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is �very hands-on� and will be responsible for the smooth running of the day to day maintenance activities on the fixed plant and infrastructure. Additionally, the role shall develop and train a team of national workforce. The Requirements To successfully fulfil the requirements of this role, applicants must be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience: An absolute commitment to safety Possess a Mechanical Trade Certificate in Fitting/Turning, or relevant equivalent. A proven track record with min 3 years experience in a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor role in CIL Gold Plant Demonstrated experience with conveyor operation and maintenance; Jaw and Gyratory Crushers; Warman Slurry Pumps; hydraulic and lube circuits & reciprocating and screw compressor. Ability to read hydraulic schematics Experience with maintenance and operation of a power station and HFO experience desirable Conversational French language skills essential Familiar with Mainpac Maintenance System. The ability and commitment to train and mentor local staff Previous African experience (desirable) An appreciation and awareness of working in a foreign country with cultural sensitivities is an absolute must The Rewards This successful candidate will be rewarded with an outstanding opportunity to play a critical role in the development of the local team along with an good FIFO roster to point of hire.
