Detail:	Our client is looking for a General Manager Operations to lead & manage a large gold producing operation in West Africa. They currently seek a very well experienced General Manager to provide leadership and deliver results at one of their gold operations. The Role The successful applicant will be responsible for: Managing a large multi-pit site with both underground & open pit mining Managing a large West African national & expatriate workforce Managing all facets of the mining, processing and administration of the operation The Requirements As the successful candidate, it is essential that you possess the following skills and experience: Tertiary Qualification in Mine Engineering 10 years + experience in General Management roles and within Africa Extensive knowledge of African mining operations in both underground and open pit environments A �can-do� attitude to achieve targets and milestones Proven track record within similar roles Excellent verbal and written skills Demonstrated ability to lead & manage a diverse team to achieve desired results The Rewards The role will be rewarded with an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in this well established mining house.
