Investing in African Mining Indaba®, often referred to as “the Mining Indaba®,” is an annual professional conference dedicated to the capitalisation and development of mining interests in Africa. For two decades, the annual Mining Indaba has served as the pathway for foreign investments into Africa’s mining value chain – opportunities ranging from small diamond deposits to mega coal projects.
Every year, this interactive, market led program brings together leading figures from the mining investment community, the world’s top mining houses and African government ministries to share insights into how the mining sector can drive investments and capitalise on the opportunities available to Africa’s mining industry.
The 2018 Mining Indaba will include more interactive presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities, designed to support the current challenges.
Highlights of this year include:
- The Junior Mining Showcase gathering 60 Junior Mining Companies to find the hottest mining projects and leading global investors all in one location.
- An enhanced networking program including the Investor Drinks on the Tuesday and structured Networking Lunches throughout the week to make connections at separate sustainability, investment, government and innovation lunches.
- The Mining 2050 innovation focused section of the event will mean that COOs, Project Directors and Chief Innovation Officers can understand the best strategy for taking their mining operations to the next level.
- The expanded Investment Battlefield to support Junior Miners below a $50 million market cap – you’ll see 24 companies pitching over the week for prizes!
